Cincinnati Financial Corporation (CFC) markets commercial insurance policies and personal life insurance policies through a select group of independent agencies that offer its property casualty insurance products.

The goal of this project was to build a data warehouse to identify if an investor was active, inactive or added newly. Also needed was a way to track total investments and update/insert data into specified marketing tables. We had to obtain the data from various databases as well as flat files. The data from different sources was integrated and loaded into the Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities:

·         Used Requisite Pro for the Requirement Documents Preparation and Prepared Business Process Models that includes modeling of all the activities of the business from the conceptual to procedural level. Followed top down, leveled technique for building Business Process Models.

This project involved reengineering of the credit appraisal system which is a Mainframe-COBOL based application. The aim was to plug all the gaps of the old system, and create better usability and portability. It also involved enhancement of the application for accommodation of changing business and regulatory requirements. Worked with RBS – Citizens Bank to convert from their current Empower Client Server system to Empower.net system. Empower.net will provide RBS – Citizens Bank associates and staff with a unified and integrated web based application for their several business areas in Mortgage including Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing and New Loan Setup. The application will be used from the initial contact with customer through the final closing documents. Due to business expansion; the Business Operation must reduce manual review of loans and supporting files throughout the loan origination process and reduce paper documentation to Go Green. This is built to maximize loan efficiency, maintain current staffing levels and double production volume within the current fiscal year. Reviewed and assessed information gathered, defined key facts and issues, identified potential problems and facilitated problem resolution.
