Description: This project involves migrating current Inventory Grid from Oracle to Cassandra to inline future architecture. Objective is to reduce total operational costs by replacing heavy licensing costs of oracle products and high end machines for coherence with distributed open source platform and linearly scalable no SPOF database on cloud infrastructure. Migrating oracle data model to Cassandra to achieve and reduce the SLA from 10 minutes to 2 seconds and also improve user experience by using Kafka, spark and Cassandra.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for building scalable distributed data solutions using Datastax Cassandra.
· Involved in business requirement gathering and proof of concept creation.
· Created the necessary keyspaces and modeled column families based on the queries
