Tesoro\Andeavor Oil Company – Austin\San Antonio, TX

Managed a $60 Million datacenter buildout and relocation program.  This included the design and implementation of a primary and disaster recovery environments in two separate locations.  Transitioned support services to an outsourced model. 

Re-designed the Oracle Identity Management platform and implemented four environments (DEV, QA, PROD, & DR) on the Oracle 12c version.  Migrated over 230 applications for authentication, 150 of which being protected by access manager, 30,000+ identities from the legacy 11g to the new 12c environment. 

Implemented an enterprise wide SIEM solution, IBM QRadar across the business and process control networks at 10 refinery locations.

Managed all IT Infrastructure aspects of a divesture of the specialty drugs and home health care divisions & branches of Walgreens into an independent company which included the following:

Cisco Unified Communications Core Infrastructure

Managed the review and design of new security solutions (Cisco & Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee ePO for Endpoint Security & Encryption, DLP, McAfee Web Gateways, and OKTA Identity Management) across all locations. 

Migrated 120+ branch networks into a new MPLS which included upgrading all routers, switches, and WAN circuits from legacy T-1’s to Ethernet circuits.

Design and implemented a new global Cisco wireless solution to provide wireless access to corporate resources as well as provide air defense capabilities in all of our locations. 

Design and implementation of Cisco iWAN, WAN acceleration, wireless solution which included ISE authentication at 120+ sites to provide efficiency to business & patients, increased bandwidth and redundancy.

Designed, Implemented & Migrated 80+ sites from various legacy telephony systems to the Cisco platform which included the implementation of Unified Call Center Express at 8 branch locations.

Managed a $60 Million Global Program to re-architect and replace legacy security infrastructure across Experian’s network and to add in new controls for emerging threats with a net annual maintenance cost reduction of $2M. 

Managed the review and design of new security solutions (Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee Endpoint Security & Encryption, DLP, McAfee Web Gateways, ArcSight monitoring solution, IP management, FireEye network malware detection and Oracle Identity Management) across all global locations. 

Managed the design and implementation of a new global Cisco wireless solution to provide wireless access to corporate resources as well as provide air defense capabilities in all of our locations.

Managed the construction and implementation of IT infrastructure of a 17-story office building which included a new datacenter; relocation of 1000+ users; $8M+ IT budget.

Responsible for managing 10 projects concurrently, utilizing Microsoft Project 2003 to develop a scope of work according to the PMO methodology which includes, the development & justification of the $4.2 Million budget, providing solutions to mitigate potential risks involved, seeking senior level management approval, along with obtaining and managing, which included interviewing and cutting back needed resources for implementation.

Managed a team of 25 Server & Application engineers to perform the migration of 2,800 local and 280 remote core infrastructure & applications servers from Windows NT 4 Server to Windows 2003 for the Shell Oil Products US & Motiva US Refineries. 

Managed the implementation of Oracle Financials Application system from several existing systems at 7 of the Manufacturing\Refinery locations.

CONOCO-PHILLIPS – Houston, TX

Responsible for managing 8-10 projects concurrently, utilizing Microsoft Project 2002 to develop a scope of work according to the PMO methodology which includes, the budget, providing solutions to mitigate potential risks involved, seeking management approval, along with obtaining and managing needed resources for implementation. 

Coordinated and managed the relocation of IT and telecommunications equipment for personnel relocations in excess of 200+ people.

Managed the migration from Windows 95, NT 4 and Novell to Windows 2000 for the Lobo\San Juan Business Unit (Geo-science Exploration group) at Conoco along with 20 Windows 2000 Citrix servers.

Managed the migration of 450 data circuits from MCI to AT&T which included upgrading current routers to Cisco and coordinating 3^rd party resources to perform the cut over without downtime in which produced a cost savings of $1.3 million per year.
