Independent Oracle EBS Consultant, Client: MKS Instruments, Andover, MA, 08/2016 – 01/2018:

Functioned as Sr. Functional-Techno Financial consultant, I have been working on large Oracle R12 implementation project rolling out EBS R12 modules to company’s international divisions:

·         As a module lead of AR/FA/EB-Tax/SLA modules, completing each phase of implementation cycle. Together other project team members, we are successfully rolling out EBS R12’s financial and manfacture modules to Singapore and Shanghai divisions.

·         In charge of designing, testing and implementing of China localizations, including local statury report and Golden Tax Systems interfaces.

·         In charge of data conversions for Suppliers master data, Assets data and open AR invoices.

·         As a module lead of AR/AP/FA modules, completed full implementation cycle, which includes gether requirements, design solutions, configure modules, testing cycles and Production cutover phases. Together with other project team members, we successfully rolled out EBS R12’s financial and manfactural modules to Taiwan division in Feburary of 2017.

·         Designed and implemented custom solutions to meet Taiwaness special AR invoicing needs. Solutions included GUI Invoice numbering, E-Invoice interface and consolidated invoicing.

·         Working closely with other consultants on other modules including OM, PO and Costing.

Independent Oracle EBS Consultant, Client: Biogen, Inc. Boston, MA, 03/2015 – 05/2016:

Functioned as Sr. Functional-Techno Specialist, I worked closely with Deloitte Implemention Team and successfully completed a large global EBS R12 Upgrade/New modules Implementation project:

·         Worked closely with key business users, I gathered and analized business requirements, translated them into functional design/configuration documents. Configured AGIS/SLA/AP/AR modules, conducted CRP and UAT testings, trained users with R12 new features. Together with project team members, we successfully upgraded Oracle EBS from R11.5.10 to R12.2.4 on schedule. The project involved 40+ Operating Units and many end-users over 30 countries.

·         As the AGIS module lead, successfully implemented Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) to 30+ division offices around world. Provided extensive Post-Production Support to US and international users, both functionally and technically.

·         Implemented PO Category restructure from one-segment to three-segment structure along with R12 Upgrade project. Wrote PL/SQL script to upload new new three-segment values into Purchasing module. Re-Structured new stores for iProcurement that made requisition creation processes more efficient and user friendly.

·         Provided Production support for FIN and SCM modules both functionally and technically.

 

Independent Oracle EBS Consultant, Client: Stryker Corporation, Kalamazoo, MI, 09/2014 – 02/2015

I worked as a Testing Lead for a large Oracle EBS R12 implementation project.

·         Created testing plans for regression testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.

·         Created test scripts for each EBS FIN modules for end-users for different phases of testing.

Independent Oracle EBS Consultant, Client: CCC Information Services, Chicago, IL, 04/2014 – 09/2014

Functioned as lead functional Oracle EBS consultant, I completed an Oracle implementation project for an insurance services company, and rolled out EBS to its newly acquired division.

·         Functioned as AR/AP/GL modules functional lead, I gathered business requirements, set up modules, conducted CRP and UAT sessions, trained new users and created functional documents. Together with other team members, we successfully performed Production-cutover and rolled out EBS to client’s newly acquired business division.

Functioned as a lead techno-functional Oracle EBS consultant, I am providing techno-functional support of Oracle EBS for an Energy company, CVR Energy. EBS modules that I supported include GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, OM, INV and Costing.  My selected personal accomplishments include:

·         Functioned as a functional-lead in an implementation project that rolled out Oracle EBS to two new business divisions. Configured AP/AR/FA/CM modules as separate operating units.

·         Provided post go-live Production support both functionally and technically. I was the go-to person for any Oracle EBS related issues. All issues were resolved in a timely manner.

·         Lead an upgrade effort of EBS from R11.5.9 to R11.5.10.2 and ready for R12 upgrade.

·         Designed, developed and implemented a custom program for Order Management module to process orders and invoices in a special way that meets unique business requirement.

·         Designed, developed and implemented several interface programs that interface item master data from a legacy system into EBS Inventory module; and transactional data into AP and AR.

·         Configured AP/PO/SLA/iProcurement modules and conducted User Acceptance Testing.

·         Created SLA Custom Source and ADR to client’s special business requirement on accounting.

·         Conducted integration tests between different domestic and international divisions.

·         Resolved many application related issues effectively and kept project on schedule.

 

Project:                R11 Implementation Project, CVR Energy, Kansas City, KS:

·         Provided functional and technical support for the company’s effort of rolling out EBS financial modules to a new business division.

·         Configured a new Fixed Assets corporate book and converted assets from the new business division from JD Edward to Oracle Fixed Assets module.

Independent Oracle EBS Consultant, Tweens Brand, New Albany, OH, 09/2011- 02/2012:

Functioning as a Functional-Technical Oracle EBS specialist, I worked on an EBS R12 upgrade/implementation project for Tween Brands, Inc. The modules that I supported include GL, SLA, AP, FA and PO.  My selected personal accomplishments include:

I also supported third-party AP invoice processing application MarkView.  I resolved many Oracle related issues for our business users and developed many RICE programs to meet business’ specific needs. My selected achievements including:

·         Provide day-to-day production support: troubleshooting and break-fixes.  Manage incident and problem tickets and resolve them according to the priorities.

·         Worked closely with business managers to understand business needs and gather requirements for improvement. Created several custom reports that helped business users improved business process. For example, one of my AP custom reports is helping AP manager easily identify duplicated payments therefore reduced number of duplicated payments dramatically and saved company millions of dollars.

·         Worked as a lead on a Paymode Interface project. This project was to develop outbound/inbound interfaces for Suppliers and Payments that automate AP payment processes and made payment processes much more efficient. I developed functional specifications, designed and developed interface programs. This project has enabled company to take more advantages of discounts provided by suppliers and saved company millions of dollars.

·         Designed, developed and implemented a PL/SQL program to help PO users to mass receive items against open POs and saved business users one week of time and enabled them to book accruals before year end.

 

Sr. Oracle Consultant, Animato Technologies, Dallas, Texas, 12/2008 – 02/2010: 

I have worked on client projects providing Oracle consulting services to our clients:

·         As a techno-functional consultant of an OTL implementation project, designed, developed and implemented an interface programs that interface Oracle HR data with third-party web based Time-Clock application. The interfaces enabled HR staffs reconcile employee’s working status and working hours much more effectively.

·         Worked side by side with our auditing partner on providing recommendations and system improvement solutions to our client, Dallas Independent School District (DISD).

·         Reviewed and investigated issues within the Oracle financial systems (GL, AP, AR, FA modules) that have been identified by the auditors. Provide recommendations and/or solutions for resolving the issues and fixing the problems.

 

Sr. Oracle Specialist, PepsiCo Inc, Plano, Texas, 03/2005 – 12/2008: 

I held responsibility of Oracle Application Specialist at Oracle baseline team, leading production support effort both functionally and technically for PepsiCo’s three divisions. Supported Oracle modules included Oracle GL, AP and PO. I provided production support for period closing activities and system integrations between legacy systems and Oracle EBS. I resolved many functional and technical problems for end-users, participated in SAP/Oracle conversion project and other development projects. My selected achievements including:

·         Providing production support for US and international remote users (China and Iceland).

·         Participated in Oracle-SAP conversion project, designed and developed several interfaces, such as AP/PO accrual interfaces and GL account interface, to integrate SAP applications with Oracle applications. Worked closely with business users and other EAM teams on gathering and documenting requirements, designing and developing solutions, developing test plan and conducting integration test. Provided go-live implementation and post production support.

·         Involved in many project activities playing a role of SME. Provided answers/reports to many ad-hoc inquiries and requests. Provided helps with testing plan, setting up testing jobs and debugging failed jobs. I was often the go-to person for my users and was depended on to find the proper Oracle solutions by other cross-function teams.

·         Configured additional GL Sets of Books for newly acquired oversea companies to allow foreign currency transactions directly enter into Oracle Applications. This capital project was initiated with very short notice and I was able to complete it on time and under budget.

I functioned as a System manager managing Oracle Financials R11i.  Helped implementing all core financial modules and personally worked on many tasks including module configurations, data conversions and custom programs development.  Oracle modules I supported including GL, AP, FA, PA, AR and Cash Managements. My personal selected achievements including:

·         Functioned as an internal team lead in the Oracle applications’ initial implementation project. Worked closely with external Consultants during configuration and go-live.  Led supporting effort during initial stabilization and post implementation phases.

·         Managed a small support/development team supporting daily business needs and develop RICE components.  Played dual role of manager and developer/analyst.

·         Created customization standards documentations and made sure all developments are consistent with the pre-set standards. All Setups and customizations are well documented.

·         Designed and created MD50 functional documents for data conversion processes to convert legacy AR/AP invoices into Oracle AR/AP modules.

·         Created Bank Check Reconciliation programs to load cleared check files (in XML format) into Cash Management’s Bank Statement interface tables. This program enables users to import and reconcile cleared checks automatically.

·         Managed an upgrade project upgrading Oracle applications from v11.5.6 to v11.5.9.

I helped client companies (ClubCorp and Verizon) in creating interfaces between Oracle Applications and third-party applications, such as Essbase Enterprises Applications.
