·         Lead strategic effort within DPIM group to evaluate existing CIAM market space and choose best in class Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution for NBCUniversal brands.

Client Tax Technology – Vice President, Project/Application Manager, Scrum Master (2005 - 2008)

·         Managed the day-to-day activities for 8 developers and was responsible for client service requests, tax withholding and reporting processing and raising critical issues to senior management.

·         Produced status reports and worked closely with the business users to define a technology strategy to increase automation of manual tasks which involved extensive business analysis and negotiating deliverables for multiple phases.

·         Coordinated the year-end tax compliance season and was the central point of contact for all tasks associated with tax form production and mailing to clients as well as filing with the IRS, various states and foreign tax authorities.

·         Project manager for the IRP system enhancements that were developed by the Bangalore team. The system was initially built to utilize a third party transaction processing service.  Led the internal processing conversion initiative that streamlined the workflow and resulted in an annual cost savings of approximately 100K.

·         Led the Sedona application development team and was responsible for technical direction and detailed planning for the project. Sedona was the strategic tax platform that centralized all client tax calculations and provided a robust system to easily deal with new tax law changes while scaling to handle increases in transaction volumes received via real time messaging.

·         Pioneer within Operations Technology with the first introduction of Agile methodology for project development.  Scrum Master for two development teams working on the next generation Client Tax platform.  Educated and mentored teams on Agile and Scrum principles including training on self-organization.  Conducted Sprint planning meetings, oversaw daily Scrum meetings, organized Sprint demos as well as retrospective meetings.  Worked closely with product owners to ensure business requirements were well-defined and understood.  Created executive reports to demonstrate process and team productivity improvements.
