EpiCept merged with Immune Pharmaceuticals in 2013 and is currently listed on both the NASDAQ Capital Market and the Nasdaq OMX First North Premier Stockholm Exchange, under the symbol “IMNP.”
Senior Director, Information Systems
Directed and managed the IS department. Defined, updated, and implemented IT strategy and steered a company-wide initiative to Align IS objectives and programs with enterprise objectives and strategies. Defined and adjusted IS standards and technologies. Planned, managed and implemented strategic IS initiatives across the enterprise, including the Research and Development lab, by optimizing costs of services through a mix of internal and external resources.
• Architected the IT infrastructure utilizing current technologies and processes to effectively and efficiently deliver IT services within the organization based on VMWare Infrastructure, SQL Server, Exchange, and Storage Area Networks. Additionally, deployed a disaster recovery environment within a co-location facility. The disaster recovery environment allowed for full bi-directional data synchronization between the co-location and the corporate facilities.
• Project Leader and Point of Contact for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliance. Working with the Steering Committee which included: Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Senior Legal Counsel, Human Resources Director, and Internal Auditor we designed a timeline for all SOX phases from planning through final assessment of internal control review.

Maxim, a global pharmaceutical research and development company focusing on early stage cancer treatment. Maxim merged with EpiCept Corporation in 2006.
Senior Director, Information Systems
Supervised a global staff which included 4 Technology managers with over 10 indirect reports. Responsible for all information management processes and systems. Implemented network infrastructure, server desktop and laptop solutions/support. Oversaw the maintenance of the company’s wide area and local area networks (LAN/WAN). Managed local and remote connectivity infrastructure. Maintained, tracked and documented software licensing and renewal. Oversaw regular virus scan and executed basic and advanced troubleshooting procedures.
• Key technical contact for the European Medical Agency (EMA). Met weekly with IT regulators in the European Union to provide direction and technical requirements for the first Electronic Common Technical Dossier (eCTD) filing in the European Union.
• Managed a team of executives to identify, select and deploy NetSuite ERP in a phased rollout. Rolled out Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
