Mainframe Developer / Analyst

Job responsibilities: 

Uses Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) version 8.6 to schedule and monitor batch jobs that typically run in the evenings or over the weekend. This person will monitor job completion and troubleshoot abends. Jobs include running backups using IBM HSM, archiving to tape and data mirroring to the redundant mainframe at an offsite colocation facility.

Required skills/abilities: 

Must have strong 5+ years of experience using Tivoli Workload Scheduler version 8.6, JCL and IBM HSM.

Skills not required but desirable: 

hands-on experience with zOS version 2.2, DB2 version 10.1 or CICS version 10.1.  

Education & Experience: 

Minimum 5 years of experience. There are no education requirements though strong written and oral skills are required.

Working Hours: Full-time Monday Through Friday during the 2nd shift, 4pm to 12:30 am Pacific Time. Occasional weekend work will be required.
