Position Description:

Architect, design, code, and implement WebAPI back end using software engineering best practices in the latest technologies:

C# / .NET 6, 7, Core / ASP.NET

SQL / Entity Frameworks

Investigate and repair application defects regardless of component: business logic, middleware, or database (Postgres and DB2).

Author and review requirements and user stories, track progress, and provide status updates in a timely manner.

Brief management, customer, team, or vendors using written or oral skills at appropriate technical level for audience

Work closely with customer technical leads and other team members

All other duties as assigned or directed

Key Required Skills:

.NET framework

.NET development (.NET 6/7/Core)

Web development (ASP.NET MVC and Web API)

JavaScript, including front-end frameworks (React preferred, but Angular is OK)

Git (with Bitbucket or GitHub)

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field.

5+ years of experience with developing and maintaining the high-performing .NET applications

2+ years of using Web development (ASP.NET MVC and Web API); JavaScript, including front-end frameworks (React preferred, but Angular is OK); Git (with Bitbucket or GitHub)

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience and understanding of .NET framework (.Net 6/7/Core)

Web development (ASP.NET MVC and Web API)

Experience with the following:

C#.Net

UML

Bitbucket

JIRA

Jenkins

Microsoft Azure

Telerik UI

Postman

Knowledge of Entity Framework and SQL

Unit Test Frameworks (nUnit / xUnit)

Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts

Experience with Agile development practices

Strong communication skills
