Job Description:
Please Note: The candidate should have both of these active certifications: Certified Application Developer & Certified System Administrator.
Position Description:
Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices
Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements
Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead.
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers
Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows
Develop common UI components for re-use across the application portfolio, leveraging Agular JS
Convert a set of current UI components from Backbone/Marionette to Angular JS
Ensure code is in compliance with architectural standards and future direction
Integrate UI components with backend Java components
Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement markup/designs
Key Required Skills:
Assessment Tool (CAT) experience with proficiency in ServiceNow Skills Assessment/Skills Management module.

Skills Requirements:
This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:
Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
5 years of direct development experience with ServiceNow
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), and/or ServiceNow ServicePortal Micro-Certification
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Strong verbal and written communication skills
3 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow process workflows
3 years of experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Roles / Groups.
3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs.
JavaScript design patterns (AMD, etc.)
Modern JavaScript Libraries (Angular, Backbone, Marionette, Require, jQuery)
Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular JS/Bootstrap 3 framework experience
ServiceNow ServicePortal and widgets development experience
508 compliance understanding
